Friday The 13th. Bound to happen, but this movie is getting remade. Remade by the same guys that directed the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which was nothing more than your usual "teen slasher horror junk"...So I expect this one to be no different. Although, Michael Bay is producing this one, so there are bound to be 1 or 2 HUGE EXPLOSIONS. Thing is, see the original ...

Monsters vs Aliens Quote: Monsters vs. Aliens is directed by Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon, produced by Lisa Stewart and co-produced by Jill Hopper and Latifa Ouaou. The film marks the theatrical debut of DreamWorks Animation's Ultimate 3-D, the studio's proprietary production process of authoring its animated films in 3-D from start to finish. Clicky...

....that have nothing to do with the cinematic original. On the shelves I've seen American Psycho II, a slew of Cruel Intentions follow ups etc. But Jesus fucking Christ.... Never mind the fact that there were three Walking Tall movies made in the seventies and a 1981 TV show. TV's the Rock would be ragin'. Anyone seen any of these impostors and are they as shite as they look?

Yes, it would seem. The Monopoly movie thread just reminded me of this little titbit. Wacca wacca How the fuck they intend to pull this off I have no idea. Chances are it will be amazingly funny due to it's utter crudness.

Might be the wrong forum for it, but does anyone know if the Odeon are doing this again this year? And if so, when and what's the lineup? Fucking loved it last year, even if their transfer of The Thing was clearly the original print (nice wee sepia-tone bit in the middle) and Switchblade Romance was shite.

Spain seems to be churning out new movies quicker than Hollywood churns out terrible ones these days, with The Orphanage and [rec] being some of the higher profile successes. Now, I introduce you to Tres Dias. This one, Tres Dias , translates to three days, but the English title is 'Before The Fall'. It's the new film from Javier Gutirrez. It's a sort of a crime/thriller/sci-fi hybrid...
