i have a 95 grand prix. it has been hesitating, i have to gun it to get it going. i have heard it backfire a couple times. any ideas? thanks

We've all been posting/reading about our first cars...very interesting rides! In the spirit of that thread, it's now time to discuss our current vehicle or vehicles. As a daily driver, I can be spotted in my '99 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It has a 4" suspension lift, 33" tires (soon to grow to 35" , 5 speed trans, front and rear lockers, evil-wicked stealthy black paint and rims, soft-top, and...

have a 2002 montecarlo ss the intermediate shaft need to be grease evey 2 to 3Â years 80to 100 dollars.the grease kit they sell cost 10 dollars.and 75 to take this iss off and lube it.has anyone else had this problem on their chevy it is very common.no recall so far. tsb reportson iss.gmc knows about this and they will no stand behind their defected parts.dominic Message Edited ...

Now as you can tell by my username, I like Ford and drive a Ford, and no, I don't work for them. I support my country.  I am certainly glad to see that Ford has brought back the legendary Taurus nameplate, as well as bringing back the Mercury Sable and coming up with a new name for the defunct Freestyle: Ford Taurus X. But I wasn't completely satisfied to hear that they slapped it on what ...

I don't know what the problem people have with the quality, but of the vehicles I've owned over my lifetime, the majority have been GM products. The first one was a 77 camaro with a 305, that would eat up other small blocks. Stock with 170,000 miles on it and it would launch of the line at a stop light. I ended up selling it for more than I bought it, with 177,000 on it.  Also...
