I noticed that search results indicated the Lakers game was on 306-1 the other day, so I dutifully navigated to that channel only to see it was blacked out...figures...BUT it then occurred to me that I was heretofore completely unaware that there was a 306-1 (so I immediately added it to my default Favorites list). What is with 306-1 and when was it added? Thanks! --Mav

We will be moving from the South Bend to the Indianapolis DMA soon. When I go to the DirecTV website and put in the zip we are planning on moving to, 47356, no matter which county is selected, it say HD locals are not available. I though Indy HD locals have been up for some time now, do they not include the whole DMA?

For those of you who receive distant networks and still have the old base package that is no longer available to new subscribers, has anyone updated to a new base package? I would like to update my base package to receive such channels as the Biography channel, plus only pay one fee for DVR service, but am cautious because I am thinking DirecTV may revoke my DNS capability if I change base ...

I might have been asleep at the wheel when this initially happened, but last night I noticed that WTTV-4 a CW affiliate is now being broadcasted in HD.

Did DirecTV recently change their channel lineup for the Choice Extra package? I used to have NBA TV, but not anymore. If they did, what other channels did they take out?

I haven't experienced this problem. Can you be more specific? Give us shows, channels and dates/times.

There are markets with five, six, or seven HD-LIL's. Houston, for instance, has ABC-13, CBS-11, NBC-2, Fox-26, CW-39, MNTV-20 all in HD. If they can get five channels on each transponder, the sixth has to be on a second transponder, maybe the fifth spot on the beam to Austin. I also don't know whether the local Fox RSN is spotbeamed or not (my guess is no since it's part of the Sports package...

Does anyone know when Directv might carry ESPNU in HD? This would be so nice with the new Football season coming up?

Does someone know of a zipcode with a 12.1 station? Our local station switched to all digital today, and thus went from their temporary 14.1 station to their real 12.1 station, thereby breaking the H20 from receiving their OTA.
