Love this thing. My fav is the superman theme. Not to say it isn't impressive, but that's not his voice or recording. It was a 4 man comedy group that recorded it. He's basically lip-synching. Not to say he stole it. They gave him full permission and he gives them credit in the description. Just makes it a bit less impressive.

I've discovered the most fantastic network on tv. It's called "Ovation TV". It's basically like art television. Right now I'm watching a two part special on photographers, and when I looked ahead in the preview channel at what programming follows, it's stuff like, "Pelleas et Melisande", described as "Christiane Oelze & Richard Cross perform Debussy's work at the Glyndebourne Opera". And "Visions...

I just became the program director of my college tv station. I need some content in the 2-6 minute range to fill in some gaps in my programming. I have been airing mainstream music videos but I'd much rather use something a little more indie. If you have a music video that's appropriate for broadcast and looks good, it could reasonably be aired hundreds of times. You'd need to provide ...

I was looking at the news and heard how close and big it was. I took a peek out the window and there it was! A glowing pink cloud not too far in the distance. Hope everyone stays safe and their houses spared. The lens is at a 140mm equivalent. I think it must be about 10 - 15 miles away.

35mm frame size - 19 new posts

I am looking at some still cameras, the Canon D5 and the Nikon D90. I looked at the sensor dimensions and they are different. The D5 is 35.8 x 23.9 mm and the D90 is 23.6 x 15.8 mm. I guess the D5 would have much shallower DoF... What is the size of S35 mm for motion pictures?

They look alright, but I can't seem to find storage space or bandwidth information. I'm probably missing something. Also, I'd prefer to pay per month. It seems really gimmicky for a company to charge you for 24 months or 36 months at a time (or else pay a ton of money in set up fees).

Hello there, first time in this area...but just wanted to shout out about a cinematographer I stumbled across on Vimeo: His name is Leonardo Dalessandri and his work looks amazing. He shoots on a Sony Ex1 - and it is beautiful. Check out his films - especially City of Love. Fanstastic filmmaker!!! See ya.
