The article is quit long and I didn't want to cut and paste the whole thing. The part I cut and paste is just a small piece. I DID NOT WRITE OR QUOTE THIS ARTICLE, I ONLY READ IT, thought it was informative and wanted to share it with those who might be interested. My take on the ariticle was how important it is to have the inflamation of mucus under control. Albuterol ...

This is in response to something I read about a person being offended because there was a smoker going to pulmonary rehab trying to improve their breathing. I feel this is a attitude that needs to be changed in our country. For some reason, people who smoke and end up with health issues have a stigma against them.. and it really is no different than people who are obese who have health ...

I started this post as a response to a question jams had on a different thread about why a person would be short of breath and have good oxygen saturation... I have been reading some information that addresses this question. Re SOB. I continually research and read. For years, ever since I started with severe SOB after pneumonia in 2001, I have been reading about Buteyko, a ...

Come on everyone, and post your humor for the day!! whether you are a Grandmother or not ;) She was in the bathroom, putting on her makeup, under the watchful eyes of her young granddaughter as she'd done many times before. After she applied her lipstick and started to leave , the little one said, 'But Gramma, you forgot to kiss the toilet paper good-bye!' ##### My ...

How many would like to participate in a daily chat thread to just say hey I'm here and say hello to everyone and tell all how the day is going and or went? I think it would be a good thing and a way to kind of keep track of who may be MIA so to speak. I kind of like the idea of it or it could even be a side board for one. We can chat back and forth. Anyone with any other ideas?? Thanks...

The weather surely is not nice here but will stay in and do my little treadmill and stretches. I have a CT scan today and an ENT appointment, that will take a quite a bit of my day. I thought maybe on Fridays we could do a TGIF type thing where we all post a ...

Data presented today from two pivotal efficacy and safety trials, SHINE and SUN, demonstrated that SYMBICORT (budesonide/formoterol fumarate dihydrate) Inhalation Aerosol significantly improved lung function and was well-tolerated in patients with moderate to very severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) relative to budesonide and formotorol administered alone, and placebo.(1,2,3,4...
