A fellow co-worker wants to retire at the end of July. He wants to buy a Goldwing so that his and wife and he want to see this country. He asked me to help him find a good Goldwing. I tried to talk him into a FLH or an Ultra, but he wants a japbike because he has heard that they may be quieter,and smoother. As you all know, I've been looking at various bikes for my next one. I'm really liking the idea of going with an HD, even used, considering the market. Can you fellas tell me about the different types of HDs' and their riding characteristics? Dynas, Road Glides, etc. I've only ridden a couple of Harleys and didn't pay much attention to what type they were. And, yes, I don't know a whole ...

Look what Suzuki is bringing to the U.S. No price yet. It seems to be the same engine as the GZ. I think the compression is a little higher though. Hey, it is an alternative to the Nighthawk, and it has a disc brake. All animals are equal but, some are more equal than others. Orwell

Haven't been to one in many years. Just saw that the show is moving from Atlanta GA to Greenville SC- plenty of time for me to go, fart around, and come back before dark. BUT- the manufacturers I wanted to see the most -Triumph, Guzzi, and Royal Enfield- aren't going to be there. Question; . Is it worth going anyway? My butt itches

It was interesting to watch on the news today that gun shops have had a rush to purchase new guns. It seems everyone is afraid that when Obama elect gets in place that gun ownership will tighten up quite a bit. For those of you who are gun owners if they really wanted them that bad you have already left a paper trail for them when you purchased your weapon. I am not saying that it will come...
