I've had my HR21 for about a year now,and it basically has worked fine, nothing out of the norm has gone wrong. I also have a very simple setup.....Slimline with 2 cables going to my HR21, and a third going to an old Hughes for a bedroom and kitchen tv. Ok....I just enabled media sharing via Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 & HR20. I do NOT have a ViiV computer....my home PC is Intel P4 3.0Ghz, 2GB RAM, ATI Gfx card, XP Pro SP2 w/all updates...including..obviously WMP11. All the items below are in many posts. I wanted to consolidate for either newbs are others doing many searches. All it takes is one item/step missed for this not to work ...

So I have a young kid addicted to Caillou. I set up a season pass on 295 (Sprout) and all was going well, recording "first runs", keeping 10. Then Sprout decided to split their "good morning" and "good night" shows in the guide. There are lots of 17, 37 and other 18 minute "Caillou" episodes now recording, none with any title information that's useful. And a lot of the times it only records part ...

Because of a terrible lip sync problem. A Anyone else in the Chicago area having these problems for the past few weeks? Even after the update. The video is way ahead of the audio. Is there anything that I can do?

Ive read it might not be possible for our HR20-700s to ever play 1080P/60 on some sets because of receiver (HR20-700) hardware limitations. Does anyone think one of the newer receivers , like the recently reviewed HR23-700, will have the necessary hardware capabilities? Has the HR23-700 been tested to see if it could play 1080P/60 on sets that previously failed using a HR20...

Peeps - I apologize if this has been answered in another thread, but I have not been able to locate it. Anyone out there with a Samsung HL-S5087W that can get this 1080P off the ground??? I've called Samsung and they have assured me (and that really means nothing) it supports both 60FPS and 24FPS, but when selecting the 1080P resolution within the guide on the HR21 it tells me my TV doesn't...
