I have (2) 750GB SATA II's (1) 500GB SATA II (1) 750GB IDE Vista Ultimate 64, and Ienable AHCI in the bios... boots fine without the IDE hooked up Can I not run AHCI with a IDE hooked up?

I need some advice for putting an UltraKaze 120x38mm on a fan controller so that it is only running at full speed when I am cranking on the CPU. i have a thermaltake watercolling kit ... is was a very bad performance so i was think about put the radiator out side of my room window. the temparature out side is 3 C now ... but is will getting cold soon, around -20 c .... i think is will be much cooler
