Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as I will no doubt be spending many hours searching through these forums. About 3 weeks ago some idiot cut me off on US1 in Miami, and sent my 2005 Mazda RX-8 (with many mods) into a palm tree going 55mph. Needless to say my RX8 is dead. It was time for a new project. I recently picked up a 1971 240zx with a RB20DET skyline engine swap from a ...

My car is weird with the idle. MS1 v3.0 running spark and fuel; 82 NA with T conversion; datsun air regulator for fast idle. It runs great when cold - rock solid idle around 8-900 RPM. Once it comes up to temp, unless I hold the throttle open it will die. Actually sometimes as its dying out, the MS sensor inputs go crazy and the car shakes. If I bump the throttle pedal a little bit it ...

Anybody know where I can find that program that scans your computers ports and tells you what is connected, baud rate, ect? I used to have it but I reinstalled windows and can't find it now. It was run from the command line if I remember correctly. TIA Edit: I've tried looking in Device Manager and for some reason it doesn't list my ports.

I'm sure the wait will be worth it, sorry to hear about your ankle. I'd like to see a closeup of that gas cap, it sounds like an interesting mod. That looks great and sure is shiny, bring sun glasses.

A good friend is handling the sale. you may contact him for all the details and additional pictures. I don't want to handle the sale because it really does bother me. I haven't posted in several months now since getting the other 300Z running. Anyways, I picked up another 300 yesterday. It isn't the prettiest but has a lot of nice upgrades. The engine runs really strong, it has a Turbonetics T04 turbo, bigger injectors and 03 Cobra MAF, 3" stainless exhaust, some nice looking intercooler kit, and some other things that I can't remember right now. Here are some...

I scored a VQ35DER from my buddies wrecked 2006 350Z with only 18K miles. Very unfourtunate for him. I felt bad for him so I bought his engine and trans to help him out... On the way back to my place I weighed the engine (complete w/o AC compressor) 6-speed transmission, wiring harness and electronics and it came in at 580 LBS total. After stripping the engine and trans down I noticed ...
