ughhh i am sooo irritated right now! here's the situation: DF and i are moving out of town into our first combined dwelling ever about a month from now (yay!!) so, i'm in the process of packing up everything in my apartment, and DF is packing his house. we don't have a lot, but we do both have complete kitchens, of which there are lots of duplicate utensils, servingware, and small appliances. i...

Hey, I'm a House fan, and I often hear Dr. House mutter, " People don't change." Do you think this is true?

I need a catharsis - I totally lost my cool with my aunt We went to my uncle's b-day party tonight with the kiddos. It was a nice backyard cookout/bonfire for his 50th complete with a "roast" of the b-day boy. Lots of super funny stories, btw. It was a blast. Any way, for most of the evening I mingled inside and out with Baby J in the sling, and went into a back bedroom to nurse ...

Long story short, my brothers and I don't get along. They are abusive towards me, have been since I was born. Because of this I have opted to not spend holidays with them as it always ends very badly. This Christmas I will not be spending with my family (I'm heartbroken because I love my family, but there really is no other way). My plan was to just hang around home on Christmas and watch ...

So my family and I will be traveling out of town for Thanksgiving this year. What dish travels well? We'll be driving about 2 hours away. Thanks, in advance, for your advice.

My cousin called to update me on New Mom's latest antics. Grandma was present at the small get-together, which started on time, which was 11:30. New Mom and her family show up at 3:00, and New Mom is upset that no one waited for them to eat (even though she admitted to giving her kids dinner at home). Because someone has already "wronged" New Mom that day, anyone is fair game! But no one ...

My company holiday party is coming up and it's formal. I don't know what to do with my hair! It's chin-length with a few layers, no bangs. My hair is straight, thick, and fine, parted on the side. I was thinking about a pretty headband or some pretty clips or a zig-zag part but I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions??

Ok I am tired, tired, tired of being a strong independent woman. You know just because I can carry myself and DS on my own doesn't mean I should ALWAYS have to. Here is my rant..... Is it just me, or I don't get why the men I involve myself with feel that even though I take care of the inside of the house, cook, clean. grocery shop, laundry, etc. that they have it sooooooo hard because ...
