Some of the unwritten rules I go by from school of hard knocks 1. You don't have a right of way 2. The green light means nothing 3. Always, eyes on the mirrors, in gear, escape route, when at a light 4. The red light means the guy behind you doesn't see it. 5. If they can't see a train or school bus what chance do you have 6. If possible never get into a pack of cars follow behind far ...

Hi folks, Just another newb with some very basic questions. I have a 2007 Buell Blast as a first bike. When I purchased it everything operated as it should. While practicing in a parking lot I noticed none of the turn signals are working and the front break no longer activated the brake light. I really want to keep riding as long as I can before ...

My Kawasaki (1981 KZ 750 LTD) has a problem When I hit the starter button it cranks fine -- for 2- 3 seconds. It then makes a rattling sound and then cuts out entirely I repeat the process a few times and eventually it'll start up and run fine Any suggestions? Back to Top

I work part time at a local BMW dealer, floor sales, parts, and I get to do demo rides. That means I lead a customer riding a new or used BMW, with me ahead on another demo bike. Before the ride, the customer fills out a waiver form. I look at their license, current and validated for motorcycles. The waiver form has the usual legaleaze, with boxes to sign off for Experience level and type/...

That thread about the new, weird looking Beemer really got me to thinking... I have long suspected that I may be a potential Beemer owner trapped in the body of a Cheap Bastard. The thing is, if I were to design a motorcycle to fit my desires, I'd want it to be: 1. A naked standard with an upright seating position and no plastic 2. Air cooled for simplicity 3....

found this link on the F800Forum, but has nothing to do with BMW and is silly/funny. They chose an FJR1300 from my answers and gave me a "score" of 4/11/3 (you'll know sort of what that means when they give you the results. www. okcupid.com/tests/the-motorcycle-personality-t est I actually would love an FJR...but it is beyond my "no bike over 500lbs" rule. I wish I could've given her a more formal goodbye. This past Thursday I was riding to an appointment. A 16 year old new driver pulled out in front of me at an intersection. Both me and the bike flipped over the car. I just got out of the hospital after four days. The bike will not be mended. I've acquired my first bone breaks (pelvis, ribs and bad sprain/partial separation in my right ...
