Halloween party - need movies! | Thread profile

So, I'm having a Halloween party. A group of friends are staying over at my house all night and we're just going to watch movies. Could you guys suggest the scariest movies out there that I can show. I want the best of the best. We're seniors in high school and this is kind of our holiday and it might be the last time we're all together.

It kinda depends on what you think is scary.... "Inside" is scary because it is plausable.... "Evil Dead" "Poltergeist" and "Pet Semetary" are all good for older films....Hope this helps. "Cheeses died for our sins"

i agree with everyone who said the evil dead :) other movies: in the mouth of madness , halloween , the blair witch project , [rec] , planet terror , scream , the faculty , black christmas (not the remake) , catacombs , ... can't think of more right now... have fun at your halloween party :) If you start sitting around the campfire, telling scary stories, change our names!

I think a good idea would be to mix it up a bit. old school, silly bad horror, ghost horror, slasher ect. Sleepaway camp. (bad, but in a good way, but with THE BEST ENDING EVER) Halloween.(original), actually really well made. Poltergiest. (more of a mainstream movie in ways, but still horror). It helps to have a bit of variety, some slashers some monster some horror comedies ect. I dont know your group of friends so im not sure how you feel about older movies or foriegn films but ill name off a few..
