I love movies, I love scary movies but what I love even more are scary Sci-Fi movies. Any good ones? I have a million movies but am running out of ideas. One of my favs is Event Horizon to give you an idea.....and it dosent even have to be Sci-Fi for that matter. Even just scary ones........

The Thing isn't terribly "scary"...but it's definitely "freaky". Some of those monster designs are just..... It also has that desperate, "hopeless" feeling, like there is no escape (kind of like DOOM 3/Aliens), that makes it that much disturbing.

Very few "scary" movies exist. I like "unsettling" in lieu of... and The Thing is definitely that. As of late, the scariest one that I saw was The Grudge. I also may be in a minority here... but I thought The Happening was unsettling as well...

I though "The Happening" was kinda lame and stupid. and when it was revealed that the Tr*** and Gr*** are working together to kill humans... I was like WT F?! and people running away at the movement the Tr*** by W**d it was just stupid.
