Well, thoughts? I enjoyed it. I thought that Ledger was outstanding and lived up to the hype. Two-Face was surprisingly minor. I thought they were setting him up for the next movie, but no. I think Nolan should seriously consider bringing in an asst. director for fight scenes. I also thought the movie ran a little long and that the sonar subplot could have been dropped. So bummed about ...

Ditto on enjoying it and Ledger. He was amazingly psychotic. I also thought they were setting two-face up to be the next villain. It seems like they ultimately chose to kill him off and keep the Joker around for the future. Of course, now that option is closed. They cannot possibly recast him. I really enjoy that this series makes Bruce Wayne seem more like a spoiled rich kid and not the man ...

Loved it. It was a little long, but I didn't start noticing it till the very end, so it wasn't bad. I liked the sonar subplot, though, and it's how he found the Joker to catch him in the end, so I suppose it was necessary. I also thought they were setting up Two-Face for the next movie. Although I do like how they played it out, and how Batman took the fall for it. I wasn't super bummed ...

I don't think he switched the addresses up. I thought he went to save Dent because he was going to save the city. I loved the movie, I agree that it went a little long and some stuff could have been dropped but overall I was thrilled with it. I also thought Heath Ledger was amazing, some of the best acting I've ever seen.

Did he say at the end that he chose to save Dent? I thought so but couldn't remember. That whole thing bugs me because it felt like a big cheat. The Joker clearly says HD is ay 250 52nd St. and RD is at Ave. Q and Cicero. Gordon asks Batman who he's going after. Batman says "Rachel." Gordon tells gives the cops the 52nd St address and off they go. Then, boom, Batman opens the door to Dent....

Buddha I also like how they portray Bruce. I like that he is younger, too. We watched that show on the History Channel "The Psychology of the Dark Knight" and it was good. It gave a lot of insight into the director's ideas for the movie and his opinion on Bruce/Batman's motives. He also said that he portrays Batman as the real personality and that Bruce is the "mask" or alter-ego....

The only way that works (without it just being a big cheat to surprise the audience) is if the Joker lied, which is believable. However, the rest of the movie kind of played it like Batman chose to save Dent because he was the hero Gotham needed. It bugged me. This is what confused me too. The only way I could make sense of it was that the Joker switched the addresses, and Batman lied to ...

He only told Dent that he chose to save him instead of Rachel because Dent was about to kill Gordon's kid. That makes sense, but did they know that Dent was mad that Batman didn't choose to save Rachel? It almost might have been helpful if Dent would have known they were going to try to save her. I also felt it was a bit disjointed and a little long. I thought they were setting up Two Face for the next installment, and I left disappointed that his story arc was so short. Not sure where they go from here because I don't know how you recast the Joker after that performance from Heath Ledger. I liked how the Joker just kind of IS: no backstory, no fingerprints, no records, just a ...

THat would make sense, Buddha. I need more explanation less fight scenes. I think a lot of the "rich brat" thing is b/c this Bruce Wayne is young.
