Shouldn't this lame attempt at political smear be on the OpEd board? Just because the tittle and the OP's claim reference a bible doesn't, IMHO, merit a theosophical discussion.

Many words are similar in Hebrew and Arabic. In this case, Mr. Obama's name is based on the ARAB word meaning "Blessing".

Well that is what happens when people mix religion and politics. Somehow we are not voting on who would be the best president anymore. We are voting on personal beliefs or the distortion of them.
