Considering how much I love Sholder's FREDDY'S REVENGE, ALONE IN THE DARK was a pretty big letdown for me. It has a few memorable moments, and it definitely stands apart from other slashers with its geriatric cast of Hollywoood greats, but at the same time the cast is its vice. You know it's not going to push the envelope, as slashers usually do, when names like Jack Palance and Donald ...

They discover a strange substance all over the island, which they are horrified to find originates from a very large spider that was transported to Earth from a far-off world. Giant bug horror from Jack Sholder, director of cult favorite...

Still of the Night is running on the Comcast On Demand free movie thing right now. Alone in the Dark, not that one, but the 1982 slasher fest directed by Jack Sholder, really should get more attention.

So as I've said before, I'm planning a personal marathon of 666 horror movies in 666 days. I've got a tentative list of ~800 titles, and would like some suggestions as to what to get rid of, and what, if anything I should add. Here's the last titles, with year, director and aka. Any help would be appreciated. Mother's Day 1980 Kaufman, Charles Mothman Prophecies, The 2002 ...
